The Teslong TTS260 Thermal Optic Camera is a compact thermal vision monocular. This device improves your ability to observe and study objects in low light conditions. The TTS260 has a detection range up to 1000 yards and a recognition distance up to 260 yards. This device converts ‘heat’ signatures to different colours by detecting infra red radiation levels and digitally converting them on the display.
The TTS260 night vision device allows you to capture still images on the pre-installed 16GB micro SD card. These images can later be transferred to any device with a USB connection via the built in USB port or viewed on an HDMI device via the built in HDMI port. The thermal camera has a 1/4-20 thread which is the standard for photography equipment which allows it to be used in conjunction with any photographic tripod or monopod.
The TTS260 is rated at IP54, which allows means it will not be damaged by a splash of water or exposure to dust. IP54 also requires the device not be submerged in water for any length of time. There is an adjustable diopter on the TTS260 which allows it to be adjusted to the user’s eyesight. A built in rechargeable battery provides 20 hours of operating time.
The device also houses a laser pointer, which could help one to get there bearings in unfamiliar terrain at night. The pointer is not visible through the optic.
Safely stored in the included sturdy case, the TTS260 Thermal Camera is 18 x 7 cm and and weighs less than 350 grams.
