The Redding Model No. 2 Powder and Bullet Scale has been designed and manufactured with the utmost attention to accuracy and sensitivity.
The Redding 02000 uses a magnetically dampened beam swing for extra fast readings. Hardened and ground knife edges ride in precision milled stainless steal bearing seats that will not crack, chip, or lose their alignment with use over time.
The powder scale’s pour spout pan has a flat bottom which makes handling very smooth and convenient. All Redding Powder and Bullet Scales are individually hand calibrated, tested and adjusted using US Bureau of Standards weights, and are guaranteed accurate to less than 1/10 of a grain.
The Redding powder and bullet scale has a 505 grain capacity, 1/10 grain accuracy, and magnetically dampened beam. The graduation plate at the beam pointer is marked in 1/10 grain increments so you can read the exact weight of the change in the pan.
An accurate powder scale is necessary for reloading. Even if you use an electronic scale, you still need a reliable method of double checking powder and bullet weight.
If you are using the scale to sort bullets, you can simply set the weight to your average bullet weight and quickly separate light, average and heavy bullets very accurately.
