Giraud Tri Way Case Trimmer 300 Winchester Magnum

The first thing that strikes you when you pick up this tool is how well it is constructed.  It is heavy, solid and very well machined.  Manufactured by Giraud Tool Company in the United States for high volume shooters, specifically to deal with the issue of rapid, repeatable, and accurate case trimming.  The Tri Way is designed to be powered by an external electric motor such as a drill press, milling machine, lathe or even a portable drill.  Trimming brass does not require high RPM tooling.  In one operation, the Tri Way trims, chamfers and deburrs a case in seconds.

The Tri Way indexes from the case shoulder, and your brass needs to be consistent to achieve accurate results.  Most users will re-size before they trim, which sets their brass up perfectly for trimming with this tool.

Each Tri Way is adjusted at Giraud Tool and is ready for use.  It is strongly recommended that you size and trim a case to keep for reference should you ever need to disassemble and reassemble the tool to factory specifications.  Should you wish to customize the case length you can easily adjust the tool to achieve the desired results.  The Giraud Carbide blade is supplied with the trimmer.  This blade is set to chamfer the inside case mouth at 15 degrees and the outside case mouth at 45 degrees to facilitate bullet seating.

Robustly constructed with smooth high quality bearings, this tool is a great solution to your case trimming problem.  Product support is available from the Bisley V Shop or Giraud Tool Company.  The supplied carbide blade has 3 cutting surfaces and can be rotated when a surface dulls.  Blade life expectancy is between 25,000 and 100,000 cases, but can be replaced as needed.
